About

So who are you?
My name is Dayton Hartman. I am a husband to Rebekah and a father to Jude. Also…
I am a SBC pastor serving in North Carolina.  I am a professor who teaches college courses on apologetics and church history.  I am contributing author to various apologetics ministries (Answering IslamBe ThinkingApologetics.com) and I moderate the official ISCA page on Facebook. Recently, I have begun to provide editorial support for the new apologetics journal, Hope’s Reason. I attended Liberty University where I earned an M.A. of Global Apologetics and I am a PhD candidate at North-West University . I am a member of The Evangelical Philosophical Society, The Evangelical Theological Society, The North American Patristics Society and The International Society of Christian Apologetics. I have a passion for apologetics, philosophy, theology, discipleship, and evangelism. It is my desire to see every Christian actively involved in a local church body that is purposefully equipping believers to understand what they believe and how to defend it.
Feel free to comment on any posting whether you agree or disagree with anything I have said. If you are a coffee lover and know of non-chain coffee establishments worth checking out, please feel especially invited to contact me.
